Generally, webinars are free. A Webinar is short for ‘Web-based Seminar.’ And it is also called a Web conference- online conference. It has become a very popular tool used in education- lectures and teaching, business meetings and other gatherings that involves audience members who are spread all over the earth who join in and ask questions, ‘actively participating’ in the seminar. For example, popular Forex companies use it in training or educating newbie Forex traders, thereby eliminating the need for physical meetings and the expenses it will cost to register or organize courses offline. Churches use it for their members who are away physically to be able to join in the service, as a form of webcasting, or for smaller group meetings.

But you may need to download necessary software before you can log into the webinar, or participate actively.
Some of these webinars are also used as a marketing tool to sell product and services to audience members.

You can get a couple of free webinars on Business, Education, Arts, and many other life topics here at Webex.

Just search for free webinars in your chosen profession or field, and you will be shocked that a lot of companies already offer trainings and courses for free if only you will subscribe for it on their website.

There are a couple of online courses that are free too. Here are some examples: How To GeekCourseraKhan academy, Alison, Global Next and My Free Courses Online. The Saylor Foundation offers tuition-free online courses especially for college students.

Next we go see how people make money online by trading or exchanging web currencies. See you soon.

Update: I left out Online Trivia contests where you can play for prize money. Trivia simply means unimportant facts or details. And most TV game show such as Who wants to be a millionaire? are based on trivia.
There are a couple of them but you can try these two:

The final ebook will definitely contain more resources (as I keep discovering new things everyday), and generally any thing these articles miss out. Thank you.
