"SURVIVING IN A POST-COVID-19 WORLD" SERIES: ESSENTIAL vs NON-ESSENTIAL IN ECONOMY (V)

Let us look at the Old Testament "types and shadows", in order to learn what to expect in a wilderness situation, and so have an idea what God expects of the Church during the Great Tribulation ahead.

SPECIFIC EXAMPLES
#1- AGRICULTURE/FOOD

ENDTIME INSTRUCTION:
REDUCE WASTE,
REDISTRIBUTE EXCESS (in order to)
ELIMINATE LACK (in his body).

As it was in the beginning, so shall it be at the end.

Exodus 16:14. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15. And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. 16. This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. 17. And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
18. And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

Acts 4:32. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common....
34. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35. And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

OLD TESTAMENT ADUMBRATION FOR SURVIVAL
NOAH'S ARK- Noah prepared an Ark because he knew and believed that a flood was coming. The preparation set him apart from the rest of the world that perished.
God ensured that Noah's supply lasted him, his family and the animals for 3 years when the waters covered the earth.

CHURCH IN THE WILDERNESS (Acts 7: 38, Deut 8:1-18)- Moses told the Israelites to prepare to leave for the promise-land/move into the wilderness. They obeyed because they believed that God was able to do what he had said will happen. And God ensured that they had all they needed for 40 years in the wilderness...till they entered the promise-land before the manna now stopped (Josh 5:12).

If you refuse to accept what is coming ahead, it will catch you unawares like COVID-19 caught the whole world unawares and they locked themselves down.

The way to be profitable in Agric industry, post-COVID-19, is to really understand the principles of godly multiplication- God provides the factors of production, wisdom and multiplication, you will reduce waste and ensure efficiency. You must obey all his instructions to you but you must be ready to redistribute your excess to feed those who lack.

Trust in God for your returns, not your efforts. Does that mean that you won't do your best? Nah! But remember that he is the one who ensures a bountiful harvest/returns (Deut 8:18).

YOU ARE NOT A CAPITALIST! YOU WILL NEVER BE A CAPITALIST IN GOD'S ECONOMY!!!
You are an efficient manager of God's factors of production/resources in your care.

God ALWAYS starts small...ALWAYS!!! Be ready to start small too. Be ready to turn $1 into $1million. Impatience (in business/investing) is not a characteristic of God.

Start investing in the right business, strictly as instructed by the Holy Spirit in you. Don't do what others are doing but what he specifically instructs you to do, the way he instructs you (Rom 8:14).

Isaiah 30:21. And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
