The Interesting Way To Be Very Rich Is To Find Something Boring To Do...

www.sijinius.com

...and become very good at it. Funny and ironical, ain't it?

The way to wealth isn't necessarily long
...Well, that depends on your definition of 'long'. A 15 year old programmer who sells his first software company for $2 million but had been programming since age 7, got wealth after 8 years.

Whereas a 42 year old man who already has a lot of rich contacts and friends in high places might get into a new consulting business and within 2 years, be given a multimillion dollar contract by the government.

...But it can be very boring
Now, that thing you do might not be boring to you. In fact, it should not be. But one thing is certain, and we cannot run away from the fact that: The things we become very good at, which put food on our table, is always routine, so routine that it looks boring and ‘easy-to-do’ to those on the outside who don’t know about it.

Yes, the routine, boring things we do- and become very good at- are what makes us very rich!

Ask doctors, they will tell you that at their hospitals, 80% of their revenue comes from just 20% of all they do/medical conditions they treat- which is the routine.

Ask managers of corporations, they will tell you the same.

Ask musicians too. It is rote and somewhat boring to play the same songs from one concert to another, yet that is what the audience wants to hear- those very same songs that they've heard over and over. They are the songs they will be long remembered for, they are the ones that will be played for decades.

We all need a large dose of patience.

True investors all over the world (whether stock market investors, or entrepreneurs who build their own company) know that you mostly don’t invest in one year and get back 100% returns that same year. But in five-to-ten years, you can get back 10000% returns or more on that same investment.

How does that happen? THE POWER OF COMPOUND INTEREST!

How long will it take you to turn your $1,000 into $10,000 with simple interest @ 50% annually?

So with compound interest, you get to your financial goal 3x faster.

You want to know the secret to true financial success...? Simple!

Find something you can do again and again, and even (still do excellently) if you closed your eyes or were absented-minded. Be extremely good at it and make money from it. Then save, and invest your savings in expanding your business, or into other investments that you have properly researched.

This requires patience and hardwork to maximise. But that is the only way the power of compound interest can work in your favor.

I believe you are more than capable.
See you at the very top. Cheers!
